In 2018 Massachusetts mandated that the sulfur content of all number-2 heating oil sold in the state be reduced from 500ppm to 15ppm. The transition to ultra-low sulfur heating oil (ULSHO) means a cleaner, safer environment for all. Anderson Fuel actively supported this change and continues to push toward promoting cleaner burning fuels, such as higher blends of Biofuel. In addition to leading the way on ultra-low sulfur content, the heating oil we sell today contains up to 5% renewable biofuel sourced from waste soybean oil and used cooking oil. And we make our premium home heating oil even better by treating it with HeatDoc, a state-of-the-art additive recognized as the gold standard for cleaner burning fuel and corrosion protection for your entire fuel delivery system.
